Explore Kampot countryside with a visit to La Plantation, the region’s most famous pepper farm or join a guided experience with tasting to learn more about pepper production.
Enjoy complimentary tastings of selected pepper products prepared at the farm.
Alternatively, a visit to a local pepper farm such as Botree Farm may be offered, including a free guided visit, pepper tasting and Entrance fee for a more local experience ( Depending the group agreement).
We spend around 2 hours at the farm, giving you time to explore, relax, or enjoy the café and restaurant area (not included).
The tour continues to the salt fields (seasonal) to learn about traditional salt production, followed by a stop at a scenic countryside lake.
Finally, visit the lovely seaside town of Kep and explore the famous Crab Market. Guests can enjoy fresh Kep crab or other seafood at their own expense, or relax by the seaside before returning to Kampot.

Meeting and pickup
The tour normally starts opposite Epic art cafe. but we can also pick up and drop off directly from your Hotel or restaurant located around 3km only from our meeting point without charge.

1Salt Fields
Spent 15 minutes for driving to here.Salt is another of Kampot’s important products. Ocean water is pumped into the pans from canals, then allowed to evaporate, leaving a thick layer of salt coating the ground. Workers rake the salt carefully into piles, collecting and moving it to storage.

2Brateak Krola Lake
Spent 25 minutes to here. The lake and a dame we built by slaves labor during khmer rude. impressive size is the man-made. A large lake, way outside of town, mostly unpopulated, with a dirt road around the lake.

3La Plantation
Only one pepper farm will be visited per tour (La Plantation or a local farm such as Botree). At La Plantation, a free self-guided visit (~15 minutes or more) is included. Optional visit to Botree Farm with free tour+tasting(Depending group agreement)

4Kep Crab Market
40 minutes to here. Finally with test seafood or lunch at crab market and swim or relax on the beach before heading back to Kampot.
