Explore Otaru and Yoichi at your own pace on an 8-hour private vehicle tour from Sapporo. Travel comfortably between Otaru’s historic canal district, Sakaimachi shopping street, Yoichi’s whisky heritage, and Mt. Tengu without relying on trains or buses.

Default route: Sapporo hotel → Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery → Otaru Canal → Sakaimachi Street & Kitaichi Glass → Mt. Tengu → Sapporo hotel.

You may request a different combination of listed stops at least 24 hours before departure. All requested attractions cannot be guaranteed within one day; the final route depends on traffic, parking, opening hours, weather and the 8-hour service limit.

This is a private vehicle service with a regular driver only. No tour guide or guaranteed English-speaking driver is included. Admission tickets, meals, tastings and optional activities are paid separately.

Pickup details:

Pickup is available from confirmed hotels and accommodations in Sapporo. After booking, please provide your exact hotel name and address, requested pickup time, passenger number, luggage quantity and size, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp contact.
Please wait in the hotel lobby or at the main entrance at the confirmed pickup time. Free waiting time is 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.
The standard service duration is up to 8 hours, calculated from the confirmed pickup time to final drop-off. Driving, parking, sightseeing, meal breaks and waiting during the service are included within the 8-hour period.
Service beyond 8 hours is charged at JPY 5,000 per hour for vehicles up to 14 seats and JPY 10,000 per hour for larger vehicles. Night service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional JPY 2,000.
Please send preferred sightseeing stops at least 24 hours before departure. If no request is received, the default Otaru–Yoichi route will apply. Not all requested stops can be guaranteed within 8 hours.
Large vehicles may require pickup or drop-off at a nearby legal parking point. If passenger or luggage capacity is exceeded, a larger or additional vehicle may be required at extra cost.

    Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery

    Visit the Nikka Museum, distillery shop and other visitor-accessible areas to learn about the heritage of Japanese whisky. A full distillery guided tour requires advance reservation, is subject to availability, and is conducted in Japanese only. It is not automatically included with this product. Paid whisky tasting is optional and self-paid. Alcohol tasting is only available to eligible guests; the driver cannot participate in alcohol tasting.

    Enjoy a relaxed walk along Otaru’s historic canal and stone warehouse district. Take photos and explore the waterfront atmosphere at your own pace. Optional canal cruises are not included and depend on operating schedules and availability.

    Explore Otaru’s historic shopping district, with time for glassware shops, sweets, music boxes, cafés and souvenir shopping. Kitaichi Glass and other shops may be visited according to guest interests and opening hours.

    Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway Ski Museum

    Finish your Otaru visit with panoramic views from Mt. Tengu. Depending on your selected starting time, season and sunset, the stop may offer daytime, sunset or night views.
