Depending on the season, weather conditions, and availability, you may also choose an optional river activity such as rafting, canoeing, or kayaking.
The Mugiyama Floating Bridge is one of the most unique experiences on Lake Okutama. Access cannot be guaranteed at all times due to weather or water level conditions. If the floating bridge is closed, you may use the nearby "Rest Path" or visit other viewpoints around Lake Okutama instead.
Lake Okutama is a popular spot for boating; the water is calm and stable, making it easy for beginners to get the hang of it. If outdoor activities are affected by rain, river conditions, or seasonal restrictions, alternative nature experiences such as scenic viewpoints, local villages, walking routes, cafés, or cultural stops can be arranged whenever possible.
