The driver will wait up to 30 minutes free of charge from the scheduled pickup time. Overtime beyond the free waiting time or beyond the booked duration may require an additional fee of JPY 5,000 per hour for vehicles up to 14 seats.
The knife workshop requires advance reservation. The sightseeing order may be adjusted depending on workshop availability.

This is the main experience of the tour. Participating guests enter a Sakai knife workshop and learn about traditional Japanese knife finishing under artisan supervision. This is a finishing and assembly experience rather than full forging of a knife from raw steel.
Learn more about Sakai’s traditional industries and explore displays introducing the history, materials, tools, and production stages of Sakai knives. Guests can also browse locally made household and professional knives.
Finish the sightseeing portion of the day in one of Osaka’s most recognizable retro neighborhoods. Explore Janjan Yokocho, photograph Tsutenkaku, walk through colorful local streets, or try Osaka specialties such as kushikatsu.
