Explore Shirahama’s Pacific coastline on a private 10-hour day trip from Osaka or Kyoto with an English-speaking driver-guide. Travel directly between Senjojiki Rock Plateau, Sandanbeki Cliffs, optional Sandanbeki Cave, Shirarahama Beach, and Engetsu Island without relying on trains or shared tour buses.

The standard route is Osaka/Kyoto → Senjojiki → Sandanbeki Cliffs & Sandanbeki Cave → Shirarahama Beach → Engetsu Island → Osaka/Kyoto.

Enjoy private transportation, hotel pickup, and flexible sightseeing within the available tour time. The driver-guide provides driving, route communication, and basic sightseeing assistance but is not a licensed professional guide.

Sandanbeki Cave admission is not included. Stop durations and route order may change due to traffic, weather, parking, opening hours, and daylight. Sunset and visibility at Engetsu Island cannot be guaranteed.

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Pickup is available from hotels, accommodations, stations, or other agreed locations within the selected Osaka or Kyoto city service area. Please select the correct departure city when booking.

After booking, please provide your exact pickup address, hotel or building name, entrance details, preferred pickup time, passenger count, luggage quantity, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp at least 24 hours before departure.

For hotel pickup, please wait in the lobby or at the main entrance at the confirmed time. For station pickup, please provide the station name, arrival time, train details if applicable, and preferred exit. For apartments or private accommodations, please provide the full address and clear entrance instructions.

Free waiting time is 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Waiting beyond 30 minutes or service exceeding the selected 10-hour duration costs JPY 5,000 per hour.

The 6-guest vehicle can carry up to four 28-inch suitcases. The 9-guest vehicle can carry up to fifteen 28-inch suitcases. If passenger or luggage quantity exceeds the selected vehicle capacity, a larger or additional vehicle may be required at extra cost and subject to availability.

Pickup or drop-off points may be adjusted if vehicle stopping or parking is restricted. Out-of-area pickup or drop-off must be requested and confirmed in advance and may incur an additional charge.

Night service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional JPY 2,000 fee.

The English-speaking driver-guide provides driving, route communication, simple itinerary assistance, and basic local support. The driver-guide is not a licensed professional guide.

    Senjojiki

    Walk across the broad sandstone terraces and enjoy panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean. The unusual rock layers and exposed coastal setting make this one of the best places on the route for landscape photography.

    View the dramatic Sandanbeki Cliffs from the coastal observation area. Guests may optionally enter Sandanbeki Cave by elevator at their own expense.
