Discover Tangier’s Jewish heritage on a private shore excursion, heritage tour, and cultural experience from the Port of Tangier. Led by the founder of Typically Morocco Tours, a licensed guide with over 20 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Jewish Heritage and Tourism Management from ISITT, supported by the Mimouna Association.
Visit the Moshe Nahon Synagogue, the former Jewish quarter, key heritage landmarks, and the historic Jewish cemetery. Depending on opening hours, a Jewish heritage museum or another multicultural site may also be included.
Continue through Tangier’s Medina, where Jewish, Muslim, and European cultures have coexisted for generations. Port pickup and drop-off are included, and the itinerary is adapted to your ship’s schedule for a comfortable return before departure. Cruise passengers: Your driver and guide will meet you outside the cruise terminal holding a sign with the lead traveler's name. Please provide your cruise ship name when booking.
Hotel guests: Please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
