    Leave early from your Nairobi hotel or airport heading toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the drive, you'll pass through the Great Rift Valley with plenty of time to take in the views. By lunchtime you'll arrive at the park, then head out on an afternoon safari drive. Expect to see massive flocks of flamingos, plus white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, and hyenas scattered throughout. Back at the resort by evening for dinner and your first night's rest.

    Spend the full day doing safari drives in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park holds millions of flamingos and over 400 bird species, so bring binoculars if you're interested in birding. Your game drives take you through grassland surrounded by euphorbia and acacia forests where black and white rhinos, gazelles, dik diks, leopards, buffalo, and lions roam. You'll have a packed lunch during the drives, then return to the resort for dinner and another night here.
