1Fairview Coffee Estate
Your day begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence, followed by a short drive to Fairview Coffee Estate, one of Kenya's most renowned coffee farms located just outside the city. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the estate's guides and introduced to the history of coffee farming in Kenya and the role the estate has played in producing some of the country's finest coffee. The guided walking tour takes you through the lush coffee fields where you will learn about the coffee-growing process, from planting and nurturing the coffee trees to harvesting the ripe cherries. The tour continues to the processing area, where you will gain insight into the various stages of coffee production, including pulping, drying, milling, roasting, and packaging. Your guide will explain how each step contributes to the quality and flavor of the final product. The experience concludes with a coffee tasting session, allowing you to sample freshly brewed Kenyan coffee.
