Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October). Other options at the Masai Mara -Balloon excursion-Masai village visit
After breakfast you will have a morning game drive enroute to the airstrip for the charter flight south into Tanzania, landing at a remote airstrip in the Northern Serengeti. You clear a brief immigration formality and head immediately on afternoon game drives in a completely new landscape on the Tanzanian side of the ecosystem.
A full day in the Northern Serengeti explores both the migration herds and the extraordinary resident wildlife of this remote section of the park. The northern Serengeti receives fewer visitors than the central Seronera area and the experience feels wilder and more intimate as a result. Resident lion prides, enormous elephant families and large herds of buffalo share the landscape with the migrating wildebeest columns. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Your last full wildlife day explores different areas of the northern Serengeti based on where the migration is concentrated and where resident predator activity is highest. Your guide and the camp team share daily intelligence about lion hunts, cheetah sightings and where the largest wildebeest concentrations are moving. A farewell bush dinner under the stars concludes this extraordinary multi-country safari experience.
After an early breakfast your charter flight departs the Northern Serengeti for Arusha Airport, from where you connect to your international departure or continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport. The flight over the Serengeti plains gives one final aerial perspective on the extraordinary landscape you have spent the past days exploring at ground level.
