This tour starts from OGG. Please arrive at OGG no later than 5:00 AM for your 6:00 AM Hawaiian Airlines flights to Honolulu and then to Hilo. Guest flight details are in their email confirmation. Upon arrival in Hilo your tour guide will stand by at ITO (turn right when coming down the escalators and you will see our tour vehicle). You will be seeing and stopping at various places till we reach the famed Rainbow Falls State Park on the edge of town. The highlight of this tour is the many stops within Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park to see an active volcano and craters of the past along Chain of Craters Road. See the steam vents, check out the destruction of the crater due to the most recent eruption. Your guide will return you back to the ITO airport in Hilo for your flight back to Maui, where your driver will meet you at the airport (if transportation was purchased in your package) to transport you back to your hotel. In all, an 9-hour day on the Big Island of Hawai'i.

Operating Schedule: Availability: Everyday Except Tuesdays & Wednesdays Duration: 9 hours land tour in Hilo, Big Island Start Time: 8:00 AM Arrival time in Hilo, Big Island HA 105, HA 142 6:00 AM - 8:06 AM HA 321, HA 516 6:33 PM - 7:13 PM (Flights are subjected to changed depending on the time of year) Black-out dates: January 1st, July 4th, Thanksgiving day, December 25th Pick-up or check-in time & location: 6:00 AM – Depart Maui OGG on your flight to Hilo ITO. 8:10 AM – Meet your expert guide at Hilo Airport and begin your Big Island adventure. 7:15 AM – Visit Rainbow Falls State Park, where cascading waters and lush surroundings create a stunning natural spectacle. 7:45 AM – Explore Historic Hilo Town and nearby parks, soaking in the local culture and charm. 8:45 AM – Stop at a Black Sand Beach, formed by volcanic lava, perfect for a short stroll and photos. 10:00 AM – Immerse yourself in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. See dramatic craters, steaming vents, and expansive lava fields at your own pace. 1:30 PM – Depart the National Park and begin the journey back to Hilo. 3:50 PM – Arrive at Hilo Airport for your return flight. 5:00 PM – Flight departs Hilo back to Maui.
