For the Basic Plan, guests choose two stops from Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum, Ohara Museum of Art, Ohara House, Momotaro Karakuri Museum, or a backstreet tour.

Different Stops by Plan

Rainy Day Walking Tour
On rainy days, the tour will be conducted on foot instead of by Brompton bike, so guests can still enjoy the area safely.
Please meet your guide in front of the 7-Eleven near the South Exit of Kurashiki Station.
The tour concludes with a disbandment within the Bikan Historical District.
This is the main area of the tour. Your guide will introduce the beautiful white-walled streets, the Kurashiki River area, local history, photo spots, and hidden backstreets. Guests will travel by Brompton bike when the weather allows. On rainy days, the tour will be conducted on foot. Please note: The Basic Tour includes two selected stops from the listed options. Lunch, Tea Terrace, and Igusa Experience stops are included only when the corresponding option is selected.
This is one of the selectable stops for the Basic Tour. Guests will visit Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum only if it is chosen as one of the two included stops. Your guide will take you there and introduce the surrounding area as part of the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter tour.
This is one of the selectable stops for the Basic Tour. Guests will visit the Ohara Museum of Art only if it is selected as one of the two included stops. Your guide will take you to the museum and share information about the area and its cultural background. If you would like to spend more time at the Ohara Museum of Art beyond the guided tour time, it is possible to end the guided tour inside the museum when the scheduled time is over. You may then continue enjoying the museum on your own as a self-guided visit.
This is one of the selectable stops for the Basic Tour. Guests will visit Ohara House only if it is chosen as one of the two included stops. Your guide will take you there and explain the area’s traditional atmosphere and local history. This stop includes one drink: matcha or coffee.
This is one of the selectable stops for the Basic Tour. Guests will visit the Momotaro Karakuri Museum only if it is selected as one of the two included stops. This stop is a fun option for guests who are interested in Japanese folklore and unique local attractions.
This is one of the selectable experiences for the Basic Tour. Guests will enjoy this backstreet tour only if it is chosen as one of the two included stops. Your guide will take you through quiet alleys, local streets, and hidden photo spots that many visitors miss.
Lunch This stop is included only with the Lunch option. Your guide will take you to a recommended local restaurant, such as a soba noodle shop, udon restaurant, or another casual local favorite. After lunch, the tour continues with the same experience as the Basic Tour, including two selected stops in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter.
Tea Terrace This stop is included only with the Tea Terrace option, available on weekends. Guests will visit Tea Terrace for a hands-on matcha powder grinding experience, followed by matcha and sweets at the cafe. After this experience, the tour continues with the same experience as the Basic Tour, including two selected stops in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter.
Igusa Experience This stop is included only with the Igusa Experience option. Guests will enjoy a hands-on igusa experience before continuing the tour. After the experience, the tour continues with the same experience as the Basic Tour, including two selected stops in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter.
