Become a peach farmer for a day in Okayama, known as the “Land of Sunshine.” This limited summer experience takes place at KARAKU, a peach farm in Kurashiki with over 60 years of history.
An English- or German-speaking guide will interpret the farmer’s explanations, including tips on how to recognize delicious peaches. A dedicated guide will accompany the tour throughout the experience.
This is a small-group tour limited to a maximum of 6 guests per time slot, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy the experience together.
Adult guests can harvest 2 peaches and take home an additional set of 3 ripe peaches as a special souvenir.
Duration: approx. 60 minutes.

Meeting and pickup
Meet at the venue (KARAKU) or, if requested, at JR Kurashiki Station to go with your guide by taxi. Note: Taxi fare: Must be paid by the guest. Capacity: As the guide joins you, one standard taxi can fit up to 3 guests. Groups of 4+ will need multiple taxis.

Harvest Ripe Peaches with the Pros! Take a big bite on-site! Enjoy overflowing juice and rich aroma. Includes 3 Premium Peaches as a souvenir! Important Notice Harvesting depends on nature. Sessions may be canceled due to weather or crop conditions. For early varieties (June 25–July 9), availability is confirmed 1 week prior. Cancellations may occur even after booking. Farm locations may change (within 10 mins drive); we will notify you in advance. ■ Details In Kurashiki, Okayama’s premier region, KARAKU offers delicious peaches year-round. Enjoy harvesting while learning directly from professional English-speaking farmers. ■ Timeline Intro (15m): Learn about Okayama’s unique peach culture. - Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and okay to get dirty.
- In case of rain, please gather at the farm’s direct sales shop. The explanation and peach drink will be provided indoors, with views of the shop and nearby peach trees.
- As the sun can be strong, we recommend bringing a hat and sun protection.
- Please bring your own drink to stay hydrated.

- Please use your own vehicle to travel to Karaku’s direct sales shop. If you are using a taxi and transportation is difficult, there are peach trees located near the shop as well. In such cases, we can offer the peach talk experience in that area without requiring further travel. If you would prefer this option, please contact us in advance.
