The tour continues with a former political prisoner, who shares powerful firsthand accounts of South Africa's struggle for freedom before taking you to Nelson Mandela's prison cell, where he spent 18 of his 27 years in captivity. Meeting and pickup
We will pick you up from any accommodation around Cape Town City Centre. Or you can provide us with your location around Cape Town City Centre. Atlantic Seaboard, Camps Bay, and any other earlier of your choice. One hour before the ferry departure please . Only for the option with Hotel pick up
You will be dropped off adjacent to the Zetz Museum and the Silo Hotel. As you ascend the stairs towards the ocean, you will find the striking red Gothic-style clock tower in front of you. If you are approaching from the shopping mall side, you cross the moving bridge leading to the Mandela Gateway.

Hotel Pickup & Return 1 Hour Before Activity | Driver/guide picks you up from your hotel or booking address. Nelson Mandela Gateway | Transfer to the V&A Waterfront for check-in and ferry departure. Robben Island Tour | Ferry to Robben Island. The tour continues by bus around the island and ends at the historic prison, where you are guided by a former Robben Island prisoner. Return to Cape Town | Ferry back to Nelson Mandela Gateway. Hotel Drop-Off | Driver/guide returns you to your original pickup location. Meeting Point Check-In at Nelson Mandela Gateway | Meet directly at the V&A Waterfront near the Clock Tower. Ferry to Robben Island | Board the ferry for the island crossing. Robben Island Tour | Explore the island by bus, with the tour ending at the historic prison and a guided experience led by a former political prisoner. Return Ferry | Ferry back to Nelson Mandela Gateway. Tour Ends | Finish at the meeting point.
