Visit the Huacas de Moche Museum with our guide and discover an extraordinary collection of ceramics, sculptures and ceremonial objects found during archaeological excavations. With your guide’s explanation you will better understand the history and legacy of the Moche culture before visiting Huaca de la Luna.

Visit the Huacas de Moche Archaeological Complex. We will start with a panoramic view of Huaca del Sol, the main administrative center of the Moche culture, which is currently not open to the public due to conservation work. We will also appreciate the environment where this important civilization developed before continuing to Huaca de la Luna. Accompanied by your guide, you will tour the Huaca de la Luna, the best preserved ceremonial temple of the complex. You will discover its squares, courtyards and enclosures decorated with stunning polychrome murals depicting divinities, ceremonies and scenes of the religious life of the Mochicas, one of the most fascinating cultures of ancient Peru.

3Huanchaco
Discover Huanchaco, a traditional fishing village where the ancient totora horses, boats used since pre-Hispanic times, are still preserved. During the visit you can walk the seawall, observe the daily activity of the fishermen and, if conditions permit, see them preparing their nets or sailing in these emblematic vessels that are part of the cultural heritage of northern Peru. Time for lunch.

4Chan Chan
Explore Chan Chan, the ancient capital of the Chimú Kingdom and the largest UNESCO World Heritage-listed adobe city in the Americas. During the visit you will tour the Nik An Palace, where you will know its ceremonial squares, courtyards, sea-inspired reliefs, administrative area and ceremonial well, while discovering how one of the most important civilizations of ancient Peru was organized.
