Swap the city for one of the wildest stretches of Chile's Pacific coast. Ritoque is one of the few places near Santiago where you can ride through pine forest, across open sand dunes and onto a long, empty beach, all in the same afternoon.
You'll ride calm, well-trained horses with local guides who know every trail. The pace is set by your group: first-timers walk and trot comfortably, and experienced riders can pick it up on the sand when the guide says conditions are right. No riding experience needed.
After the ride, we fire up a classic Chilean BBQ by the coast, with grilled meats, fresh salads and bread, and time to slow down and take in the view.
Small group of up to 8 travelers, round-trip transport from Santiago and a bilingual guide (English, Spanish, Portuguese) included. Just bring a windbreaker, sunscreen and closed shoes.
