3Vereda Do Larano
Discover one of Madeira’s most scenic coastal walks along the Vereda do Larano, connecting Machico to Porto da Cruz. This trail offers breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean and dramatic cliffs. The walk begins through Machico’s agricultural area before transitioning into a stunning coastal path. Along the way, you’ll pass scenic viewpoints ideal for photos and enjoy the fresh sea air and wild beauty of the north coast. Some sections are narrow, adding a sense of adventure, but can be done safely at a comfortable pace. This is a self-guided experience, prepared by our team. Before starting, a local host will provide a full briefing with route details, safety tips, and recommendations so you can explore confidently at your own pace. The experience can end in the picturesque village of Porto da Cruz, where you will end by the beach.
