Enjoy convenient transportation for your independent walk along Levada do Rei, one of Madeira’s most picturesque trails. We provide morning pickup from Funchal, Caniço, Garajau, or Machico and transport to the trailhead in São Jorge, allowing you to enjoy the route independently.
The moderate 4-hour walk begins at the Quebradas Water Treatment Station and leads through lush forests and traditional agricultural landscapes. The route includes tunnels, vibrant vegetation, and Ribeiro Bonito, a hidden area within the Laurissilva forest.
The hiking route is undertaken independently and at your own pace, without a guide accompanying the walk. After completing the trail, enjoy a comfortable return transfer to your pickup point.

At the scheduled time, your local driver will pick you up at your hotel or chosen location.
Briefing
At the Levada do Rei starting point, your driver will give a short orientation briefing to help you be on schedule and confirm return details.
Self-Guided Walk - Explore freely at your own pace through Laurissilva forest, waterfalls, and lush scenery — a true Madeiran experience.
Transfer back to your accomodation or hotel.
