This is a night hiking experience — but not a typical one.
We’ll walk through Cappadocia’s valleys after sunset, following old paths once used by monks and local communities. Along the way, we’ll explore rock-cut churches, frescoes, monastic spaces and the hidden stories of medieval Cappadocia.
We’ll talk about early Christianity, monastic life, beliefs, symbols and the history of the region while experiencing the valleys in a completely different atmosphere after dark.
More than a hike, it is a journey into the medieval soul of Cappadocia.

Meeting and pickup
Please wait at the hotel lobby 5–10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Your guide will meet you there holding a sign with your name or the name of the tour. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via WhatsApp.

We begin our night hike in Meskendir Valley, following quiet ancient paths through narrow rock formations, tunnels and hidden cave churches as the landscape slowly disappears into the night.

3Red Valley
Red Valley was once a true valley of monks, filled with rock-cut churches, chapels, monastic cells, monasteries and ancient pigeon houses. We’ll follow the old paths once walked by monks and discover hidden churches and monastic spaces carved deep into the rocks

4Rose Valley
Rose Valley, we’ll follow an ancient route through some of Cappadocia’s most striking rock formations and hidden passages. Along the way, we’ll discover the Ayvalı Church and the Three Crosses Church, while talking about the landscape, monastic life and the stories behind these remarkable rock-cut sanctuaries.
