Your adventure begins at a spacious riding center, where you can admire horses roaming freely in large pastures or relaxing in paddocks, within a sanctuary dedicated to elderly and retired horses that promotes animal welfare and ethical horsemanship.
After a short initial briefing, you will set off on a route led by a certified FITETREC-ANTE equestrian guide, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. You will ride along country trails, through woods and valleys, reaching spectacular viewpoints overlooking Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the flowing Metauro River, which rises in Borgo Pace and crosses the entire valley.
A unique adventure for those who wish to experience the Marche through history and nature, perfect for both beginners and experienced riders.

Meeting and pickup
The riding stable can be reached by car, motorbike, bike, or public transport. At the entrance, a shaded parking area under oak trees accommodates up to 15 cars and one minibus/coach.

The experience begins at a spacious riding stable, where after a short introductory briefing, you will set off with a certified FITETREC-ANTE equestrian guide. You will ride along charming country trails, through woods and green valleys, reaching spectacular viewpoints with unforgettable sights of Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Along the way, you will admire the flow of the Metauro River, which originates in Borgo Pace and crosses the entire valley, adding timeless natural charm to the landscape, before returning to the riding stable

- The maximum allowed weight per person is 80 kg. A maximum of 2 participants weighing between 80 and 120 kg are kindly asked to contact us after booking, so that we can reserve suitable horses for their weight.
- On request, horseback rides can be assisted by qualified staff, who also accompany participants on foot along the route. This ensures constant support for beginners, making the activity suitable even for first-time riders.

- There are no toilets at the stable, only running water and a changing room available for guests. There are no dining facilities, but staff will gladly recommend local farmhouses, restaurants, or B&Bs where you can continue your experience with a typical meal or stop.
- In case of light rain, the experience will not be cancelled. We recommend bringing a raincoat or appropriate clothing.
