  The experience begins in Cozumel at the assigned meeting point, where travelers will complete check-in before the departure time selected for their reservation. Once the crew has welcomed the group and provided the first instructions, guests will walk a short distance to the pier and board the boat. This first step is simple and direct, allowing the group to move quickly from check-in to the sea route.

  Palancar Reef

  The first stop on the water is Palancar Reef, one of the most recognized snorkeling areas around Cozumel. Travelers will receive the included snorkeling equipment and enter the clear Caribbean water to begin exploring the reef environment. This visit introduces the marine side of the island, with tropical scenery, blue water, and the first snorkeling moment of the tour.

  Columbia Reef

  The boat then continues to Columbia Reef, giving travelers a second snorkeling opportunity in another important marine area of Cozumel. Guests can return to the water, observe the reef surroundings, and enjoy a different underwater setting before the route moves toward the shallower areas of the island. This stop adds variety to the snorkeling experience and continues the ocean-focused part of the day.

  After the reef stops, the route reaches El Cielo, one of Cozumel’s most iconic shallow-water locations. This area is known for its transparent water and the starfish that may be seen resting on the sandy bottom. The atmosphere here is calmer and more scenic, giving travelers time to enjoy the turquoise water, admire the natural setting, and experience one of the most famous places on Cozumel’s marine route.

  Playa El Cielo

  The final marine stop is El Cielito, the sandbar area connected to El Cielo. Its shallow turquoise water and relaxed atmosphere make it a softer closing point after the snorkeling stops at the reefs. Travelers may also see rays moving through the water while enjoying this peaceful Caribbean setting. During this part of the excursion, the snack service may include fish ceviche, guacamole with tortilla chips, and seasonal fruit.
