The Big Four Bridge (Pass by)
The Big Four Bridge is a striking, six-span former railroad truss bridge that stretches across the Ohio River, connecting Louisville, Kentucky (via Waterfront Park) to Jeffersonville, Indiana. Originally completed in 1895 and rebuilt in 1929 to carry heavy freight and passenger trains, the bridge took its name from the defunct Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway—familiarly known as the "Big Four Railroad"
