What to expect

Start your day at our cozy kimono shop in Asakusa, just a 3-minute walk from the famous Senso-ji Temple!

First, you'll browse our collection of beautiful, authentic kimonos and choose the one you love most.

Next, I'll help you put on your kimono. My name is Kazune, and I grew up right here in Asakusa. Together with our nationally certified kimono dresser, we'll make sure everything fits comfortably and looks perfect on you. Dressing takes about 30 minutes. Free luggage storage is available at our shop, so you can explore Asakusa hands-free :)

Then, it's time to explore! Stroll around Asakusa at your own pace, visit Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Street, and take beautiful photos in your kimono. Feel free to ask me for my favorite local photo spots :)

When you're done, simply come back to our shop by 17:30 to return your kimono and change back into your clothes. If you want to keep it longer, you can return it the next day for a small extra fee.

Some visitors worry that wearing a kimono might be culturally inappropriate, but please don't! We really love seeing travelers enjoy our culture, and everyone looks wonderful in a kimono :)
