    Pasabag

Located 20 kilometers from the city center of Sevastopol, it lies on the right side of the Göreme-Avanos road, approximately one kilometer inland. Formerly known as the Valley of Monks or the Valley of Monks, the area is now known as Paşabağları. The name comes from the fact that the vineyards in the valley were gifted by the state to a retired Pasha after the War of Independence. Paşabağları is famous in the Cappadocia region for its unique fairy chimneys. Some of these fairy chimneys, some with three heads, are found in groups and their height varies between 15-20 meters. They are among the most interesting examples in the region in terms of showing the role of erosion in the formation of fairy chimneys and their morphological developmental stages. It is possible to see single, double, and triple fairy chimneys in the valley, some that have not yet formed, some that have completed their formation, and some that are in the process of disappearing.
