This old apartment complex is a great example of everyday urban life in Ho Chi Minh City. Originally built decades ago, the building is now filled with small homes, cafés, shops, and local businesses. Walking through its narrow corridors gives you a glimpse of how generations of residents have adapted old buildings to modern city life.
Hồ Thị Kỷ Flower Market is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s best-known wholesale flower markets. It becomes especially lively from late evening into the early morning, when flowers arrive from different parts of Vietnam. Besides colorful flowers, the surrounding area is also known for its diverse street food and Cambodian-influenced flavors.
Ba Son Bridge crosses the Saigon River and connects the city center with the Thu Thiem area. It offers beautiful views of the river and Ho Chi Minh City’s growing skyline. It’s also a nice place to see the contrast between the city’s historic center and its rapidly developing modern districts. (Not for walking option because it’s far)
Bùi Viện Street is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most energetic nightlife areas.
