2.5-hour Ljubljana Wine Walk begins at Congress Square by the Holy Trinity Column, where your guide introduces Slovenia’s rich viticultural heritage before leading a stroll through the historic city center to explore three distinct wine regions across three handpicked wine bars. The journey starts at a Primorska-focused venue, where guests enjoy Mediterranean-influenced whites, bold reds, or orange wines paired with local olive oil and artisanal bites, followed by a walk through Old Town featuring local lore and stories of the city's past. Next, the tour visits a Podravje wine bar to sample crisp, aromatic whites and sparkling wines from the northeastern hills, before heading to the final venue dedicated to Posavje and boutique gems to discover regional wine varieties. Throughout the walk, participants sample nine fine wines paired with local cheeses and cold cuts, concluding the experience in the heart of Old Town with a tasting of traditional Slovenian blueberry and walnut liqueurs.
