You’ll work with traditional tools to shape and smooth your chopsticks by hand, while our instructors guide you through the process from start to finish. It’s easy to follow, satisfying to make, and no crafting experience is required.
Want to make them even more special? Personalize your chopsticks with an optional engraving of your name, initials, or favorite word.
At the end, you’ll walk away with more than just a souvenir — you’ll have something useful, personal, and made entirely by you.

In this workshop, you'll choose your chopsticks and shape them yourself with guidance from our friendly instructor. No previous woodworking experience is needed — the process is simple, fun, and suitable for beginners.
Make your chopsticks even more personal with our optional engraving service. Add your name, initials, or a special word in English or Japanese to create a truly unique souvenir from your time in Kyoto.
