We’ll begin in Kenrokuen, one of Japan’s most celebrated landscape gardens, known for its seasonal beauty and peaceful atmosphere. From winding stone paths and elegant bridges to reflective ponds and sculpted pine trees, I’ll guide you to the most photogenic spots. Along the way, I’ll offer gentle posing direction to help you feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. This part of the tour captures the quiet elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics in every frame.

2Higashi Chaya District
Next, we’ll stroll through the historic Higashi Chaya district, where the charm of old Kanazawa comes to life. With its preserved wooden teahouses, narrow alleyways, and soft golden light, this area offers a beautifully atmospheric backdrop. We’ll capture portraits along the cobbled streets, beside latticed windows, and under classic lanterns—blending timeless architecture with your personal story. 3Kazuemachi Chayagai
We’ll visit Kazue-machi, one of Kanazawa’s most atmospheric traditional districts, for a relaxed series of portraits along its narrow lanes and the Asano River. The beautifully preserved machiya houses, traditional streetscapes, and riverside views provide a distinctly Japanese backdrop without feeling overly staged. I’ll guide you through the area and choose the best spots and angles as we go, giving you a variety of natural portraits while incorporating the character of the neighborhood. We’ll make a brief stop outside Kanazawa Castle for a few photographs featuring the impressive castle facade, traditional stone walls, and the elegant bridge. Rather than entering the castle grounds, we’ll focus on the exterior viewpoints that provide a strong sense of place while keeping the photoshoot moving naturally. I’ll choose the best angles and guide you into relaxed poses, capturing a few memorable portraits with one of Kanazawa’s most recognizable landmarks as the backdrop.
