This is a parking lot for our bus transit system. Look for our white truck and white llama trailer that says “Wonder Meadow Farm”. We’ll meet here and then you can follow us in your car to Staunton State Park (about a 10 minute drive).

    Your adventure follows an easy 2-mile loop with minimal elevation gain, making it ideal for families, couples looking for a unique date night, fall foliage enthusiasts, and visitors searching to fill their Colorado bucket lists. You'll be joined by two gentle llamas, and each guest will have the opportunity to lead a llama during the hike. For groups of more than two guests, everyone will have a chance to take a turn leading one of these curious and gentle hiking companions. As you wander through peaceful forests, golden aspen groves, and open mountain meadows, your guide will share stories about the area's wildlife and plants. Midway through your journey, you'll visit the historic Staunton homestead cabin, where you'll warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies while learning more about life on the Colorado frontier. As the sun begins to set over the Rockies, you'll continue your hike beneath glowing skies, brilliant fall colors, and plenty of llama hugs.
