We do not pick up at the Port of Halifax (cruise ship terminals). Guests arriving on cruise ships are responsible for ensuring they can meet their tour on time. We ask all cruise passengers to meet at the Westin Nova Scotian (1181 Hollis St, Halifax), so please enter this as your pickup location when booking. Pick-up can be as early as 7:00 AM. A specific return time to the Westin Nova Scotian is not guaranteed and typically falls between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. We do not take responsibility for missed pickups or missed cruise ship departures.
You are welcome to bring comfortable footwear, layers, water bottle, packed lunch (if you are opting not to eat in a restaurant or cafe) and sun protection.
We pick up from Hotels/Motels/AirBNB's between Halifax peninsula and Bayer's Lake (if you are staying outside of these areas, please contact us to work out a pick-up location within our pick-up range that you can meet us at).
Enjoy a 45-minute stop at Luckett Vineyards, where you'll have the opportunity to sample award-winning wines crafted from locally grown grapes. Take in the breathtaking vineyard views, browse the winery shop featuring local wines, specialty cheeses, charcuterie, and other gourmet products, and visit the famous red phone booth to "phone home" with a complimentary call anywhere in North America. It's the perfect place to relax, explore, and capture stunning photos. Note: Wine tastings are available at your own expense (approximately $12 + tax).
Enjoy a 15-minute stop at the spectacular Blomidon Look-Off, perched atop the North Mountain with panoramic views across the Annapolis Valley to the Bay of Fundy's Minas Basin. Capture stunning photos of the rolling farmland, orchards, vineyards, and sparkling waters in the distance. Please note: Visibility from the Blomidon Look-Off is weather dependent. If conditions are expected to significantly limit the view, we may instead allow additional time at one of the other tour stops.
Enjoy a 1.5-hour stop in the charming fishing village of Halls Harbour, nestled along the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. Stroll the wharf and watch lobster boats float at high tide or rest on the ocean floor at low tide, soak in the peaceful seaside atmosphere, and explore the rocky shoreline. You'll have time to enjoy lunch at the Halls Harbour Lobster Pound (at your own expense), offering fresh lobster, seafood, and non-seafood options, or bring a packed lunch and picnic by the water. Before you leave, be sure to browse Parker's General Store for locally made souvenirs and gifts.
Enjoy a 45-minute stop at Grand-Pré National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that commemorates the Acadian people and their history. Stroll the beautifully maintained grounds and gardens, take in the peaceful landscapes overlooking the Minas Basin, and enjoy one of Nova Scotia's most picturesque historic sites. A wonderful spot for photos, with scenic walking paths, historic monuments, and vibrant seasonal blooms.
