Driver pick you up in Hanoi old quarter depart to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, renowned for its incense product since the 17th century. You leave the city behind, enjoy the transition to the peaceful countryside scenery. Following a 1.5-hour journey (around 30 km), you will arrive at Quang Phu Cau traditional incense village. Where the air is scented with sandalwood. Wander through courtyards filled with thousands of vibrant incense bunches arranged like giant flowers. Interact with the artisans and capture breathtaking photos of one of Vietnam’s most photogenic traditions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness the incense-making process, discover the ingredients used, and even try making incense and dyeing the incense sticks yourself. This stands out as one of the most fascinating experiences in this historic craft village.

Chuong Village
You move to Chuong conical hat village. You will be warmly welcomed by the host with a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea inside an ancient house, a perfect showcase of Northern Delta architecture. You will be captivated by the wooden structure, adorned with intricate carvings and traditional furnishings that give the house a deeply venerable and timeless atmosphere. Begin your hands-on journey at the Tonkin Conical Hat Workshop and meet local artisans who have dedicated decades to this traditional craft. Learn about the materials and hat-making process, watch skilled craftsmen at work, then try shaping, stitching, and painting your own conical hat to take home as a unique souvenir. Along the way, interact with locals and capture memorable photos among displays of conical hats and traditional countryside items set within a peaceful green garden. Hop on a bicycle for a scenic ride through the peaceful village, lush rice paddies, and local vegetable gardens. You will enjoy the fresh countryside air and catch a glimpse of authentic rural life.

Chuong Village
16:00 You stop at a local market. Where many local come to prepare their dinner. The guide will assist you to choose fresh ingredients by yourself to make spring rolls (Nem ran). You also have opportunity to observe daily life of local people. 17:00 You join a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese Spring Rolls. You will discover how the fresh ingredients are prepared, and get hands-on guidance to roll and fry them to crispy perfection.

Explore Huong Pagoda – a Vietnamese cultural and religious complex

Depart to visit Huong pagoda. This Pagoda is one of Vietnam's most sacred and breathtaking spiritual destinations. Nestled among the limestone mountains of Huong Son, this vast complex offers a unique journey where natural beauty meets deep cultural heritage.

Thien Tru Pagoda
Arriving at Duc Wharf, you'll embark on a boat heading towards Thien Tru Wharf. Along the way, will be surrounded by lush paddy fields and the crystal-clear Yen Stream. After disembarking, a 15-minute walk will take you to Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven's Kitchen), where the main activities of the Huong Pagoda Festival are held.

Continue your tour with a hike to Huong Tich Cave, located on the top of the highest mountain in the Huong Son range. You can take a cable car or walking up the mountain. When you rich the peach, you will enter a sacred Buddhist shrine stands amidst the timeless mist of burning incense. Along with the majestic stalactites and stalagmites resembling golden trees and silver trees. On the way to go out, visitors patiently wait to catch sacred droplets with their hands, believing they bring luck and blessings. The cool air, the fragrant smoke, and this ancient ritual create an otherworldly, mystical atmosphere, giving travelers an indescribable sense of sacredness and peace. After a day of soaking in the magic of the Huong Pagoda, it's time to return to your boat to head back to Hanoi.
