Spend three unhurried days inside Lake Malawi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with your own vehicle and a Malawian driver-guide who grew up here. Stay on the beach at Cape Maclear, walk through the fishing village with your guide, and spend a full day on the water: boat out to the islands, snorkel among hundreds of colourful cichlid fish found nowhere else on earth, watch African fish eagles dive, and cruise home at sunset.
