Pickup is available from hotels, hostels, and bus stations within Ha Giang City. Please be ready at the reception or agreed pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Our guide or driver will contact you before the tour to confirm the exact pickup time and location. If you arrive in Ha Giang by overnight bus, please send us your bus company name, arrival time, and drop-off point so we can assist you.
The main meeting point is Ha Giang Ali Hostel. Guests can store large luggage at Ali Hostel during the loop and should bring only a small backpack for the tour.
Enjoy a free dorm at Ha Giang Ali Hostel before the tour. Tell your bus driver to stop at our hostel on the main road, 2 km from Ha Giang Bus Station. Walk 20–25 minutes or take a taxi. Contact us via phone or WhatsApp if you need help.
Start from Ha Giang Ali Hostel in Ha Giang City. Meet your guide and Easy Rider team, receive a short tour briefing, prepare your luggage, and begin the Ha Giang Loop journey.
The journey starts with a visit to Doc Bac Sum Pass, a breathtaking route with dramatic landscapes and lush valleys, perfect for scenic photography.
Next, ascend to the famed Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, where panoramic views of the Twin Mountains and the surrounding karst formations captivate travelers.
Continue to the Lung Tam Flax Weaving Cooperative, where you’ll witness the meticulous process of traditional flax weaving, a cultural craft mastered by the H’mong people for centuries.
Ride deeper into the highlands, passing rice terraces and mountain passes until you reach Du Gia Waterfall. Surrounded by rocks and jungle, the waterfall is a peaceful oasis where you can swim or just relax in the refreshing air.
After breakfast, leave Du Gia Village and begin the second day of the loop through peaceful mountain roads, rice terraces, and remote ethnic minority villages.
Ride through Mau Due, a scenic highland area surrounded by limestone mountains, valleys, and remote villages. This section of the route is quieter and less touristy, offering beautiful landscapes and authentic local life along the way.
Continue through Ngoc Long stream, where winding roads pass through rice terraces, streams, and traditional villages hidden among the mountains.
Arrive in Meo Vac around midday and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. If your travel day falls on Sunday, you may have the opportunity to visit Meo Vac Market, where different ethnic groups gather to trade goods, food, livestock, and handmade products while wearing their traditional clothing.
Ride across the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Vietnam. The road runs high above deep valleys and offers dramatic panoramic views of the mountains, the Nho Que River, and Tu San Canyon.
Stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Nho Que River from the Ma Pi Leng Pass area. Please note that this tour includes viewpoint stops only. The Nho Que River boat trip is not included.
Enjoy views toward Tu San Canyon, one of the most impressive canyon landscapes in northern Vietnam. This stop is for sightseeing and photography from the viewpoint area.
Arrive in Dong Van, a historic mountain town known for its old stone houses, local markets, and peaceful evening atmosphere. After checking in at the homestay, you may explore Dong Van Old Quarter, enjoy tea or coffee, or rest after a full day of riding.
After breakfast, depart from Dong Van Town and begin the final day of the Ha Giang Loop. The route takes you through the scenic mountain roads of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Visit the historic H’mong King’s Palace, also known as Vuong Palace, located in Sa Phin Valley. This impressive stone mansion combines Chinese and French colonial architectural influences and once belonged to one of the most powerful H’mong families in the region.
Ride through Nine-Turn Pass, a dramatic winding road with sharp curves and beautiful valley views. This is a great short stop for photos on the way back from Dong Van.
Continue to Tham Ma Pass, one of the most iconic mountain roads in Ha Giang. The winding road and surrounding limestone scenery make it one of the most memorable photo stops on the route.
Stop in or near Yen Minh for lunch, depending on the group’s pace and road conditions. This area is known for its peaceful mountain scenery and simple local food.
Arrive back in Ha Giang City in the late afternoon, usually around 17:00–18:00 depending on weather, road conditions, and the group’s pace. The tour officially ends here. You may rest at Ali Hostel, collect your luggage, or continue with your onward transfer.
