Our UTV tour promises breathtaking views. You will go to Sawtell Peak which itself is known for its sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscapes, including expansive forests and distant mountain ranges. The UTV tour offers a unique opportunity to explore this stunning wilderness up close, navigating through trails that wind through forests, over hills, and along ridges.

What to expect
Discover the stunning backcountry of Island Park on a self-guided UTV adventure up Sawtell Peak. With epic mountain views, aspen groves, and volcanic landscapes, this route offers an unforgettable ride.
1. Orientation & Setup
We’ll meet at the designated spot for a quick safety briefing and UTV instructions. You’ll receive a map to guide your journey.
2. Premium UTVs Provided
Ride in comfort with our two- or four-seat Can-Am Maverick Trail 800s and 1000s—built for rugged trails.
3. Big Springs Stop
Start at Big Springs to spot trout in crystal-clear waters—moose sightings are possible too!
4. Continental Divide
If snow has melted, continue up and cross the Continental Divide—an unforgettable moment.
5. Caldera Meadows
Cruise through scenic meadows known as the Caldera, formed by ancient volcanic activity.
6. Climb to 10,000 Feet
Ascend to nearly 10,000 feet. At the summit, enjoy sweeping views shaped by the region’s volcanic past.
7. Scenic Descent
Descend through golden aspen groves and grab photos with Sawtell Peak in the background.
8. Return Ride
Wrap up with a relaxing ride back to the starting point through stunning terrain.
