What to expect

Orange wines, unfiltered reds, bottles that fizz slightly when they shouldn't — welcome to natural wine, Catalonia's most exciting (and most misunderstood) wine scene.

Agüita is a small wine bar in El Born built around exactly these bottles: low-intervention wines from small producers who farm organically, ferment with wild yeasts and add little or nothing in the cellar. Joan, Agüita's founder and a certified sommelier, has spent years building natural wine lists across Barcelona.

The format is a comparative wine flight for a maximum of 12 guests: a welcome glass of cava, then 4 natural wines poured side by side around a common thread — same grape, different makers; or same region, different philosophies. Jumping between glasses is the fastest way to understand what "low intervention" actually changes in aroma, texture and taste.

Cheese board, bread with olive oil and a surprise final pour included. Vegan and gluten-free options, plus 3 different non-alcoholic wines for non-drinking companions — tell us when you book.

Perfect for the natural-wine-curious and for skeptics alike. Come argue with us — glass in hand. Favorite bottle? We ship worldwide.
