Chengdu, China

2 hours 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

This is a fully private Chengdu food tour for your group only — no mixed groups, no strangers joining your table, and no fixed shared-tour pace.

Travel by local tuk-tuk and on foot through hidden alleys, old neighbourhoods and family-run eateries where locals actually eat.

Your English-speaking host can adjust the spice level, food choices and timing to suit your group, making the evening more flexible and comfortable than a standard shared food tour.

Across 4–5 selected stops, taste 12–15 Chengdu dishes and snacks while experiencing the city’s real neighbourhood food scene after dark.

Pricing is based on a private hosted experience.

Even for solo travelers, the tour includes a dedicated English-speaking host, tuk-tuk transport, all listed tastings, and a flexible route arranged around your pace and food preferences.

Served in a spicy, sweet chili sauce, vinegar and garlic Chengdu dumpling has a very different and rich flavour compared to Wontons.
