All of our guides that lead our Tours are native Newport historians with over 15 years of service. The places we will visit are both rare and unique and are only found in Newport. The walk will be through the oldest neighborhood that possess the largest concentration of pre-1830 Colonial residences and buildings. Not only will you see the exterior of these structures, you may also be shown one that is occupied by an artist who will share her background and allow you to tour the first AND second floors of her home (gallery).
If I tell you anymore it may ruin some of the many surprises!

The Tour will be historically chronological as we begin in the original Colonial neighborhood called 'The Point', and finish in Washington Square, the center of today’s downtown Newport.

You will see The Whitehorse Tavern, The Colony House, the Colonial Point Neighborhood, the Mansions, the Ocean Drive, The Cliff Walk, and a few other must see sites.
