During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. This four-hour adventure is a highlight reel of Hanalei’s natural wonders. Begin by paddling a tandem kayak down the gentle Hanalei River, shaded by overhanging trees and surrounded by birds and native plants. Venture into Hanalei Bay, where your guide provides a safety briefing and local tips. Enjoy blue water paddling, snorkeling time at the Bay Reef Lagoon, birdwatching, and beachcombing, and don’t miss stopping to explore hidden tide pools along the way. The tour includes all necessary gear (kayak, paddles, life jackets, snorkeling equipment), as well as snacks, bottled water, and a deli-style lunch for morning departures. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult; all guests should be comfortable in the ocean and prepared for roughly 1.5 hours of round-trip driving time to and from the launch location.
