1Mutianyu Great Wall
Day 1 – Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall Meet your guide at 13:00 at Dongzhimen Subway (Exit B1), then journey 1.5 hours into the countryside to Mutianyu — the most celebrated and scenic section of the Great Wall, renowned for its graceful beauty and lush surrounding forests. Spend 3 hours exploring this wonderfully restored wonder. Walk along its snaking ramparts, take in sweeping views of the mountain ridges, and imagine the centuries of history beneath your feet. As dusk falls, check in to the Mubus Mountain Lodge — a cozy retreat nestled at the foot of the Wall. Sip a craft beer or freshly brewed coffee on the terrace as the setting sun paints the ancient stones in shades of gold and amber. Dinner is a simple but hearty countryside meal, enjoyed under the open sky. Overnight: A traditional Chinese B&B at the Wall's base (king-bed room with breakfast included) — where the silence of the mountains and the presence of the millennia-old Wall make for an unforgettable night's rest.

2Jinshanling Great Wall
Day 2 – Mutianyu to Jinshanling: The Majestic Wall Wake to a peaceful 8:30 breakfast at the lodge, then set off on a 2.5-hour drive to Jinshanling — the wilder, more dramatic counterpart to Mutianyu. Here, the Wall reveals its most powerful face. With the greatest concentration of watchtowers anywhere along the entire Great Wall, Jinshanling commands the rugged peaks with an awe-inspiring majesty that photographs simply cannot capture. This is the Wall at its most monumental — a 4-hour exploration that will leave you breathless, both from the climb and the sheer grandeur of the view. After descending, board the coach for the return journey to Dongzhimen, where your two-day deep-dive into China's greatest landmark comes to a close.
