Prepare for a unique and unforgettable experience in the majestic Los Glaciares National Park.
Once at the "Bajo de las Sombras" port, you will board a boat to cross Lake Rico, arriving on the opposite shore after approximately 20 minutes of sailing in front of the imposing southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Upon disembarking, you will be greeted by our expert mountain guides, who will lead you to a cozy refuge with a privileged view of the glacier. From here, the trek begins! We will start the tour with a walk along the lake shore, keeping our eyes on the glacier to ensure we don't miss the opportunity to witness calving. Next, the guides will give a talk on glaciology.
The glacier circuit is of medium difficulty; the ice surface is uneven but firm and safe. During the walk, you will be able to appreciate a variety of typical glacial formations such as deep crevasses, blue sinkholes, enormous seracs, and turquoise lagoons.

Meeting and pickup
Transfers: Some hotels in the city are not part of the pick-up route. If your accommodation is outside the route, we will contact you to indicate the nearest hotel where you should go. You must wait for the guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
If you book an option without transfer: You must arrive at Puerto Bajo Las Sombras at the time we will indicate the day before the activity date. Possible boarding times: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Age restrictions: This activity is suitable exclusively for people aged 8 to 65 inclusive, without exception. Minors must have the necessary physical and mental capacity to walk for approximately 3 hours, of which 1 hour and 30 minutes are spent on ice using crampons. If minors under the age of 18 participate without their parents, they may only do so with written authorization from them, specifying the full details of the supervising adult in charge.
- Food: Food is not included and there are no places to purchase it during the excursion. Each passenger must bring their own food from El Calafate.

- To confirm your booking, you must send the following information for all passengers: Full name, Passport or national identity card number, Nationality, Date of birth, Photograph of the passport of minors, Hotel (if you purchased the option with transfers). Your booking will not be confirmed, nor will your place be guaranteed, until we have received all the requested information from each passenger.
- Schedule: The published schedule is an estimate. Once all the information required to confirm the booking has been received, our team will inform you of the exact start time.
- Medical restrictions: Pregnant women and people with obesity and sedentary lifestyles are not eligible to participate; nor are those with respiratory illnesses such as COPD, asthma, or emphysema; central or peripheral cardiovascular conditions; reduced cardiac or vascular capacity; stents, bypasses, pacemakers, or other prostheses; physical or mental disabilities that affect attention, gait, or coordination; recent fractures; serious spinal or knee problems; or recent surgeries.
- Evaluation for participation: If, at the start of the excursion, a person presents any of the aforementioned exclusionary conditions or has difficulty walking independently, they will not be able to participate. In these cases, no refund will be issued.
