What makes this tour unique is the opportunity to snorkel at Sombrero Reef, one of the Florida Keys’ most beautiful and expansive coral reef systems. After cruising approximately four nautical miles offshore aboard a 31-foot motorized catamaran, guests spend about 45 minutes exploring a vibrant underwater ecosystem filled with mature coral formations, colorful tropical fish, sea fans, sponges, rays, sea turtles, and other marine life. The combination of a scenic offshore boat ride, an uncrowded open-water setting, and the chance to experience a thriving natural reef makes this more than a typical snorkeling trip. It offers guests an up-close look at the incredible marine environment that makes the Florida Keys so special.

Meeting and pickup
All guests must complete their digital waivers, prior to check in. These will be provided via email. Once waivers are completed, guests check in 30 min prior to departure at the Fury "Neptune", at Faro Blanco Marina 1996 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL.
What to expect
Once you arrive at Sombrero Reef, the crew will get you geared up with snorkeling equipment and provide easy-to-follow instructions before you jump in. Then it’s time to make a splash! Spend approximately 45 minutes snorkeling through a spectacular tongue-and-spur reef, home to mature coral formations and an abundance of colorful tropical marine life.
Stretching across more than 208 acres, Sombrero Reef is teeming with life. Keep your eyes open for vibrant coral, sponges, sea fans, tropical fish, graceful rays, curious sea turtles, and more as you explore this amazing underwater ecosystem.
After your snorkeling adventure, climb back aboard, kick back, and enjoy complimentary soda and water as you relax on the ride back to Marathon. With gorgeous scenery above the water and an unforgettable reef adventure below it, this is a fun-filled way to experience the natural beauty of the Florida Keys!
