At the scheduled time, pick-up from your hotel in Medellín and transfer to Hacienda Corazón de León, a traditional family-owned coffee farm with more than 60 years of coffee-growing heritage. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome coffee tasting and the opportunity to wear traditional coffee farmer attire, including a poncho, hat, and rubber boots. Guided by a local expert, walk through the coffee plantations and discover the main stages of coffee cultivation, from seed germination and harvesting to processing and drying. The experience concludes with a barista presentation introducing different coffee brewing methods and the unique flavors of Colombian coffee. Return transfer to your selected hotel in Medellín.
Start in El Poblado with a visit to an urban dance academy to learn the basic steps of reggaeton. Continue with a walk through Provenza, one of Medellín’s trendiest districts known for its creative and cultural atmosphere. The tour then takes you to Barrio Alfonso López, an important place in the history of Colombian reggaeton, where you will enjoy a freestyle performance by local artists. Next, visit Casa Gardeliana Museum, dedicated to the legacy of Carlos Gardel and the influence of tango in Medellín, before traveling by metro to Comuna 13, one of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, known for its street art, music, and social transformation.
