    Day 1

    Quito – Zuleta: Zuleta Experience

    1 stop
  • Bordados Zuleta (Pass by)

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through green mountains, patchwork fields, and picturesque villages as you leave Quito behind. Upon arrival in Zuleta, you’ll be welcomed by a local guide and experience life as a guest, not a tourist. Walk through charming streets before visiting a local artisan’s home for an embroidery workshop, where you’ll learn traditional techniques and create your own souvenir. Enjoy a three-course lunch featuring local ingredients and ancestral recipes. In the afternoon, visit the Casa Museo Karangue to discover local history, traditional adobe construction, ancient looms, and archaeological treasures, plus a hands-on adobe-making activity. End the day with an overnight stay at a historic hacienda surrounded by the Andes.

  • Day 2

Otavalo: Traditional Market & Natural Andean Landscapes

    1 stop
  • Otavalo (Pass by)

Discover the highlights of Ecuador’s northern Andes on this full-day cultural and nature experience. Begin at the spectacular Laguna de Cuicocha, a crater lake inside an ancient volcano, where you’ll enjoy scenic trails, panoramic views, and insights into its geology and cultural significance. Continue to a traditional Andean instrument workshop to learn how charangos, quenas, and zampoñas are crafted and enjoy a short live performance. Then visit the famous Plaza de los Ponchos, South America’s best-known indigenous market, filled with colorful textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring traditional Andean cuisine before returning to your hotel in Quito.
