The Vienna Gate is the northern entrance to the Castle District and is still protected by its medieval walls. From here, you'll cycle downhill through narrow, winding streets to the lively Széll Kálmán Square before continuing on to the banks of the Danube.
Be impressed by the magnificent Hungarian Parliament building on the opposite bank of the Danube before continuing your ride along the river. Batthyány Square is not only named after one of Hungary's most renowned prime ministers, but is also a remarkable historic ensemble. It's the perfect spot to take another great selfie.
You'll cross the city's oldest bridge, which was destroyed during World War II, later reconstructed, and recently underwent a complete renovation. Riding across the Chain Bridge is an essential part of the experience—and since private cars are no longer allowed on the bridge, it's a true delight for cyclists. Long live the bicycle!
Through quiet downtown streets, you reach the pedestrian zone and turn toward Elisabeth Square. There is always a lot of hustle and bustle there, but after just two minutes, you’re back in the Jewish Quarter, where countless bars and restaurants await you.
