Guzhang Red Stone Forest, a 4A-level tourist attraction, is located in Guzhang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, adjacent to the Youshui River and opposite Furong Town. It is China’s only red carbonate stone forest, a unique karst landscape on the Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang tourism route. Formed 450 million years ago in the Ordovician Period, it originated from ancient Yangtze Sea sediments. Through crustal movements, weathering and dissolution, iron-rich carbonate rocks formed red stone pillars (10–30 meters high) in various shapes, showing purplish-red in sunshine and brownish-red after rain, known as "the No.1 Marvel of Wuling". Covering 1.2 square kilometers, its key attractions include Ancient Yangtze Sea, Heavenly Pool and Dragon Gorge, with ancient marine fossils embedded in rocks. It also integrates Tujia and Miao cultures, making it a perfect destination for nature and culture lovers.

Aizhai Bridge, a 5A-level scenic spot, is located in Aizhai Town, Jishou City, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. Spanning the 355-meter-high Dehang Grand Canyon, it is a world-famous steel truss suspension bridge with a main span of 1,176 meters, known as one of the world’s greatest engineering marvels. Opened in 2012, the bridge features a 1.6-kilometer sightseeing walkway on its lower level for visitors to "stroll among the clouds"Walking on the glass,you can enjoy panoramic views of the winding Aizhai Highway—an iconic mountain road with 13 sharp curves—and the breathtaking canyon landscape below. For adventure seekers, Aizhai Bridge offers the world’s highest commercial bungee jumping at 355 meters, providing an adrenaline-pumping free-fall experience. Fenghuang China Giant Panda Garden, a national 4A-level scenic spot. Opened officially on July 1, 2020, it is the largest panda-themed park in Hunan, integrating tourism, scientific research, popular science and leisure entertainment. Covering a construction area of 13,950 square meters, the garden has complete facilities, including panda pavilions, a panda hospital, a science popularization museum and companion animal pavilions. It is home to 8 giant pandas transferred from Sichuan in 2020, each with its own unique personality, and other companion animals like green peacocks and alpacas to create a harmonious ecological environment. Visitors can get close to the lovely pandas, watch them eat, play and rest, and learn about panda protection knowledge in the science museum. The garden also has leisure projects such as a panda restaurant, waterfront plank road and children’s non-powered amusement park, making it an ideal destination for tourists of all ages.

4Phoenix Ancient Town

Furong Town (also called Hibiscus Town) is a 2,000-year-old ancient town in Xiangxi, Hunan, famously known as “the millennium town hanging over a waterfall.” Nestled on cliffs above a roaring waterfall that flows into the You River, it features well-preserved Tujia stilted houses, old stone streets, and rich ethnic culture.
