Follow the scenic coastal road through Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and the seaside suburbs, with a stop at Lake Vouliagmeni. Continue to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon, dramatically set above the Aegean Sea.
Choose a daytime departure or time your visit for sunset, when the cape offers one of Attica’s most memorable views.
You may also include an optional seaside dinner stop after your visit to Cape Sounion, subject to the reserved tour duration.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup Locations: Pickup is available from Athens, Piraeus, Athens International Airport and surrounding suburbs.
Airport Pickup: At Athens International Airport (ATH), please proceed to the Arrivals Hall of your arrival terminal (Schengen or non-Schengen). Your driver will be waiting there, holding a sign with your name.
Port Pickup: At Piraeus Port, we coordinate in advance with the port authorities to confirm your exact cruise terminal and arrange the required vehicle access. Your driver will meet you directly at the designated terminal exit, holding a sign with your name.
Hotel/Accommodation Pickup: Your driver will meet you in the lobby or directly outside your accommodation, where vehicle access permits. Please be ready 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Transfer Time: Pickup and drop-off transfer time is included within the reserved 5-hour tour duration. Extensions are subject to availability and an additional hourly charge.
Luggage Assistance: Your driver will assist with your luggage throughout the service.
Special Requests: Please inform us of any special requirements when booking so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.

3Temple of Poseidon
Enjoy free time to visit the archaeological site of Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon, overlooking the Aegean Sea. For the sunset option, the itinerary is timed to reach Sounion before sunset. Entrance ticket is not included.

4Vouliagmeni

- Our professional English-speaking drivers are experienced local professionals with excellent knowledge of Athens, the Athenian Riviera and Greece. Throughout the tour, they share local insights, point out places of interest, answer questions along the way, and adapt the itinerary to your preferences. At the archaeological site, your driver will drop you as close to the entrance as permitted and arrange a convenient meeting point for your return. Drivers do not accompany guests inside the archaeological site. Guests who would like to be accompanied during their visit and receive professional historical, archaeological or cultural interpretation may request a licensed tourist guide. After booking, Athenaos Travel & Tours will provide the available guide options and arrange the selected service on your behalf, subject to availability and an additional fee.
- Sunset Option: Sunset departure times vary throughout the year. The itinerary is scheduled according to the seasonal sunset and the archaeological site's operating hours.
- Lake Vouliagmeni: Entry to the lake area is optional and subject to its operating hours. The stop may be adjusted depending on your selected departure time and preferred itinerary.
- Guests with reduced mobility: We provide assistance with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Please inform us in advance of any specific mobility requirements so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
- Child safety seats are available upon request.
- Optional Dinner Stop: A seaside dinner stop can be included after Cape Sounion. Restaurant costs are not included, and the stop must fit within the reserved tour duration. Additional time may be arranged subject to availability.
