This workshop combines cultural discovery with a truly hands-on experience. You will prepare traditional Moroccan mint tea and spiced coffee, taste local herbs and spices, and create your own personalized coffee blend alongside local hosts. It is a practical and friendly way to discover the flavors, customs, and hospitality of Morocco.

Meeting and pickup
Please proceed to the main entrance of the Medina Mall. At the entrance, look for our security guard. Present your reservation ticket to the security officer to direct you to the meeting point.
What to expect
Begin with a traditional Moroccan mint tea ceremony. Learn how the tea is prepared, sweetened, poured, and served, and discover why it plays such an important role in Morocco's daily life.
Continue with an introduction to Moroccan coffee and the historic spice routes that brought aromatic ingredients into local kitchens. Smell and taste a selection of herbs and spices, including cinnamon, cardamom, saffron, thyme, fennel, and anise, while learning how each ingredient affects flavor and aroma.
Prepare Moroccan spiced coffee alongside your local host. Experiment with different spice combinations, then create and taste your own Moroccan-inspired coffee blend.
Finish with a guided tasting, compare the different flavors you have prepared, and learn practical tips for balancing sweetness, spices, and aromas.
Throughout the workshop, exchange stories with your hosts and discover the customs associated with serving tea and coffee in Moroccan homes.
Bonus: Receive simple recipes to help you recreate Moroccan mint tea and spiced coffee at home.
