From samurai stories at Osaka Castle to kushikatsu beneath Tsutenkaku, see and taste Osaka in one memorable day.

Begin at Osaka Castle, where massive stone walls and moats tell the story of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Osaka’s rise from strategic stronghold to merchant city.

Then head to Shinsekai, one of Osaka’s most distinctive neighborhoods. Neon signs, old shops and Tsutenkaku create a retro atmosphere far removed from the castle grounds. Here, sightseeing becomes tasting. Try classic Osaka food such as crispy kushikatsu while learning how bold, affordable flavors became part of the city’s identity.
