Day 1
Transfer to Bwindi from Entebbe

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe or the airport. Set off on a scenic journey through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, passing bustling towns, rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to stop for refreshments, photos, and lunch (at your own expense). Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon or early evening, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the following day. * Driving Distance: Approximately 500–530 km (310–330 miles) * Driving Time: Approximately 8–10 hours.
Day 2
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced rangers on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. You will then be assigned to a habituated mountain gorilla family and begin your trek through the ancient rainforest. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family and the terrain. Along the way, your guide will point out the park’s rich biodiversity, including birds, butterflies, and other primates. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, play, and interact with one another—a truly once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter. After the trek, return to the park headquarters to receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate before transferring back to your lodge to relax and reflect on this extraordinary experience. Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the return journey to Entebbe. Travel through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, passing terraced hillsides, rural communities, tea plantations, and the Equator, where you may stop for lunch and photos depending on your route. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure.
