See the Golden Circle and snorkel Silfra on a private day from Reykjavik. At Thingvellir National Park you float between the North American and Eurasian plates in Silfra, glacial water with more than 100 metres of visibility, led by a certified local operator who provides the dry suit and gear. Then watch Strokkur erupt at the Geysir geothermal area, feel the spray at Gullfoss waterfall and walk the rim of the colourful Kerid crater.
The day runs at your pace. Choose a sedan for 1-3 travellers or a van for up to 8.
Your guide collects you from your Reykjavik accommodation with a VAREN name tablet, helps with your luggage and has water on request.
The Silfra snorkeling ticket is not included. Contact us after booking and we will reserve your snorkeling slot (the ticket price is listed under what is excluded).
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Enter your Reykjavik accommodation address at checkout. Your guide meets you there with a VAREN name tablet a few minutes before the start time and has your phone number, so there is no need to call ahead.
After the tour you are driven back to your accommodation. The order of stops may change on the day because of weather, road conditions or your Silfra slot.

Located within Thingvellir National Park, Oxarafoss is a picturesque waterfall flowing over dark volcanic rocks into a clear pool below. If weather and road conditions allow, you will have time to walk close to the waterfall, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and capture photos of this scenic hidden gem.

3Silfra
Arrive at the Silfra fissure, one of the world’s most unique snorkeling locations, where crystal clear glacial water flows between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. 4Geysir
Continue to the famous Geysir geothermal area, a fascinating landscape filled with steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and colorful mineral deposits. - Wear thermal base layers under the dry suit (wool or synthetic, no cotton or jeans) and bring a warm change of clothes. If you wear glasses, contact lenses are recommended.
- The Silfra snorkeling ticket is not included. Contact us after booking and we reserve your snorkeling slot.
