Short on time? Discover the very best of Cao Bang in one unforgettable day. Visit the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall, the spectacular Nguom Ngao (Tiger) Cave, the unique Angel Eye Mountain, and traditional craft villages, all within the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark.
This tour is designed for self-riding by motorbike. To ride legally in Vietnam, guests must have a valid International Motorbike Driving Permit. Before departure, guests will sign a liability waiver. If you don’t have an international license or prefer not to self-ride, you can choose one of the two alternative options we provide:
-Option 1: Ride with a local motorbike driver (Easy Rider). Extra charge: USD 25 per driver per day, payable in cash
-Option 2: Private car. Extra charge: USD 60 per car per day, payable in cash (maximum 6 passengers; cost can be shared with others in the same car)
Be prepared for a full day of adventure, covering around 200 km, and make sure you’re ready both physically and mentally

We will pick you up from ANY accommodation in Cao Bang City. This tour starts and ends in Cao Bang City
If you arrive by the overnight sleeper bus, please tell the driver to drop you off at "Hong Van Homestay address 008 Hong Viet, Thuc Phan, Cao Bang". You can easily find and reach our place by walking about 100m using Google Maps.
Let us know if you need us to arrange transfers from and to Hanoi, Sapa, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh, or Ha Long. Airport pick-up is available with additional fees

At 9:00 am, take a short walk in the traditional handicraft villages, and we will witness the daily life of the Nung ethnic villagers. Along the way, we'll travel on village roads to see the old stilt houses and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore stilt houses, learn about papermaking from the local families, and gain insight into the lives of the local people

3Nguom Ngao Cave
From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm We'll visit Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. Discovered in 1921, it's developed inside a limestone massif with coral and crinoid fossils from an ancient sea 400 million years ago. The surrounding karst terrain features peak cluster depression, hanging valleys, and sinkholes, with many hanging valleys and sinkholes From 12:00 am to 1:30 pm We will visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Cao Bang. Climb up to the pagoda and enjoy a panoramic view of Ban Gioc Waterfall, with the beautiful scenery of intertwining water and mountains. 4Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls
From 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm After lunch, we drive to Ban Gioc Waterfall. The cascading water from above created a mesmerizing scene, as it whitewashed the river below. A fragrant rice field with a gentle breeze added to the picturesque setting. Riding a boat closer to the waterfall, we experienced the thrilling sensation of water drops splashing on us, sending shivers down our spines. As we reached the middle of the river, we stood at the border of Vietnam and China From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm We will drive along the Quay Son River and through Phong Nam village. You will be greeted with a charming landscape that is as beautiful as a watercolor painting. Visitors can explore the valley's enchanting beauty or simply immerse themselves in the tranquillity of this natural gem. You will also pass through villages of the Tay and Nung ethnic people

From 15:30 to 17:30 We drive to visit Angel Eye Mountain (Núi Mắt Thần), a prominent destination of Cao Bang Geopark. This mountain is a stunning natural attraction known for its breathtaking beauty and unique geological features. It is popular among tourists for its scenic hiking trails We return to Cao Bang City and drop you off at your hotel.
